Senior Commercial Consultant – Aviation

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Consultant to support on a major aviation programme based in Manchester. Our client is open to candidates on a freelance or permanent basis. The project will encompass various packages of work including civils, construction, fit out and MEP
Working under the NEC4 form of contract, you will provide commercial and strategic advice to the Construction Manager and a high-level overview to the End Client assessing change, administering of contracts, supply chain management and identifying key risk factors on the project
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of commercial management looking month end applications for payments and Estimates at Completion.
Key to this role will be to demonstrate the ability to support, advise and collaborate with key stakeholders on the Programme ensuring high-level commercial advice is conveyed to the end client
Required Skills/ Qualifications:
- Degree level qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
- Knowledge and experience of NEC4.
- Industry Sector Expertise: Experience in UK-based sectors, particularly Infrastructure/Contruction
- Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, with the proven ability to manage difficult conversations
- Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.
- Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
Our client can offer salaried positions or contract.
Rates: £600-750 per day (outside of IR35)
Package: £85 – 95,000 + Benefits
