Richard Hodgkins
Director
Richard joined the Recruitment Industry, firstly in finance then, in 2001 moving to a leading engineering and technical recruitment firm where he would spend the next fifteen years successfully focusing on the infrastructure sectors. Richard has specialised in the supply of professionals into the areas of schedule, cost, risk and change management.
In 2017, Richard formed Infraspec to provide customers with a more exclusive and collaborative service. Richard’s detailed understanding of the sectors and disciplines allows him to identify the best candidates with the right cultural fit for his clients. This is something he believes is more critical now, in the current climate, than ever before.
At home, Richard is a family man with two sons that occupy his time. He is also a FA qualified football coach who coaches his local junior team.
Conor Murray-Robertson
Director
Conor started his recruitment career in 2001 servicing the construction and infrastructure sectors in the UK and internationally.
With particular focus on construction, rail and aviation, he has successfully placed many people on major projects and programmes from junior grades through to Director level.
Conor’s appointments have been within the niche discipline areas of commercial/ cost management, quantity surveying, estimating, project planning, project controls and project related risk management.
Conor enjoys working with talented people. He is passionate about providing a first- class service and always seeks to find the best, long term solution for all stakeholders.
Outside of work, Conor is an accomplished musician, he has travelled extensively and enjoys watching and playing many sports.
Susan Cardy
Associate Director - Commercial
Susan has over twenty five years recruitment expertise specialising in search & selection, international contingency recruitment and HR management, with extensive success having led both in-house and agency recruitment on large iconic infrastructure & construction projects.
Susan is adept at creating strong, trusted, collaborative and effective relationships with clients and candidates alike. As an effective communicator and an innovative problem solver, who enjoys working with clients to explore their needs, Susan is able to offer expert advice allowing Infraspec to provide first class recruitment solutions.
Susan covers key discipline areas within Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Project Planning, Project Controls and Project Risk Management.
At home Susan enjoys swimming, running, tennis and dog agility.
Phillipa Meads
Associate Director - Project Controls
Phillipa holds eight years’ experience with the recruitment industry with a wide breadth of experience across in-house, RPO and agency side specialising within the Infrastructure, Commercial, Environmental Consultancy, Customer Operations and Head Office corporate recruitment sectors.
In February 2021, Phillipa joined Infraspec as Recruitment Manager for our Talent Acquisition team, now Associate Director for Project Controls. Phillipa’s key focues is to provide customers with a more exclusive and collaborative service alongside helping to grow the project controls business.
Phillipa’s passion is the customer experience. This is at the heart of everything she does.
Outside of work Phillipa thoroughly enjoys exploring cultures and countries through her travels
Samantha Morris
Sourcing & Compliance Specialist
Samantha has over seven years recruitment expertise, with a background in the financial services sector, specialising in compliance management and regulation.
Samantha joined Infraspec in 2021 specialising in sourcing and qualifying talent within the niche fields of Project Controls, Project Planning, Cost Engineering and Project Risk Management.
Samantha supports the team in placing the best possible project controls candidates in our array of positions. Uncovering hard to find talent is one Samantha’s key strength’s.
Outside of work, Samantha spends much time with her family. She has a passion in volunteering with rehoming abandoned dogs from Romania here in the UK.
Zainab Padghawala
Financial Controller
Zainab has over nine years’ finance expertise from within the manufacturing & infrastructure sectors. Zainab’s experience includes financial management, accounting as well dealing with strategic issues that have a broader impact on a business.
In July 2021 Zainab joined Infraspec as their Financial Controller. Zainab believes the secret to success at Infraspec is in its strong internal & external relationships, real business relationships built on trust. These come from clear communication, insight, considered challenge where necessary, but above all, an energy, and a passion to deliver engagements. From the wider culture down to one-to-one, you create something that grows stronger over time. The trust and confidence just naturally expand. You can’t ask for better than that when it comes to career development.
Outside of work Zainab enjoys reading, travelling around the world and exploring different cuisines.
Vlada Liashchenko
Consultant
With a background in law and digital marketing, Vlada brings a unique blend of skills and creativity. She has excelled in various legal areas including contract, IT, intellectual property, and more, along with experience in contentious matters like banking and tax law.
In marketing, Vlada has over 5 years of experience developing and implementing B2B and B2C strategies, mastering everything from managing contractors to designing effective digital funnels and landing pages.
Outside of work, Vlada enjoys sports, painting, and travelling, reflecting her vibrant personality and holistic approach to life. With her passion, dedication, and diverse skill set, we’re confident she’ll make a valuable addition to our team.
