🌟 Planning Engineer – Major Rail Programme 🌟

📍 Hybrid – 1 day a week in either London OR Birmingham

💰 £550 – £600 per day (Inside IR35)

We’re looking for a Senior Planning Engineer with strong NEC contract knowledge to join a high-profile rail project..

The Role

Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
Perform critical path analysis, progress tracking, and risk assessments to keep the programme on track.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure NEC contract compliance and effective programme delivery.
Engage with stakeholders, providing clear reporting, schedule optimisation, and mitigation strategies.

What You’ll Need

✔️ Proven experience in planning and scheduling on major infrastructure projects.

✔️ Solid understanding of NEC contracts and experience working within a contractor environment.

✔️ Proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong schedule management skills.

✔️ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
