Associate Director – Project Controls

Our client, a prominent construction consultancy specialising in Planning and Project Controls, is expanding its established Project Controls team and seeks an experienced individual for the role of Associate Director.

As Associate Director, you’ll lead critical project work within a multi-billion-pound energy program. Responsibilities include cost management, Project Management initiatives, and overseeing a team of Project Controls professionals.

Experience required:

·        Proficiency in Planning & Project Controls Toolsets: Extensive experience with tools like Primavera P6, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk assessment on major projects.

·        Programme/ PMO Knowledge: Understanding of Program Management Office (PMO) processes and their integration within project delivery.

·        Industry Sector Expertise: Experience in UK-based sectors, particularly Infrastructure/energy.

·        Leadership: Track record leading effective multi-disciplinary teams of up to 15 professionals.

·        Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, with the proven ability to manage difficult conversations.

The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strategic mindset, fostering effective teamwork to maximise team performance.

Our client is paying up to £90,000 depending upon experience.
