We are in need of a PMO based project planner for this amazing new opportunity to work on a £4bn programme of new infrastructure work!

Within this role you will be an essential part of the team and be assisting the Project Controls Manager in ensuring that the plans are developed, tracked, and reported on, to help produce positive project outcomes. You will need to have strong communication skills and able to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities.

While you’re working with the project and programme managers, you’ll be expected to gather scheduling data across the portfolio, integrate contractor schedules into the PMO master plan and ensure adequate risk provision is built into the plans. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that the plans have the correct integrity and quality. A key responsibility will be to produce the forecast for the related milestones and periodic reports.

About you.

  • Have knowledge of planning software, ideally P6, or MSP.
  • You will be able to demonstrate some planning and controls work experience.
  • Ideally have some working infrastructure or construction-based expertise.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
