Infraspec is delighted to be recruiting for an Associate Director of Project Controls to join one of our prestigious clients who specialise in Planning and Project Controls across the Transport, Defence, Utilities & Construction sectors, working on major capital public & private projects.

The company are very much respected within the industry and continue to drive ingenuity into modern project controls methodology. The business is very successful so there are huge growth opportunities here, this position would suit candidates who have previous management capability in project controls and/ or are subject matter experts in areas of scheduling, cost engineering, risk or change management. In this role you will physically see the impact and value that you will bring to the team.

Key responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Lead and manage the team of project controls staff to ensure delivery of client workload while maintaining positive outcomes
  • Generating fee income through delivery on major existing projects
  • Checking integrity of internal and external programme (Primavera P6)
  • Contributing towards the development of internal project controls professionals
  • Working with new and existing clients to develop their project controls teams, systems, process and governing

Role Requirements:

  • Experience within planning and project controls toolsets such as, Earned Value Management, Risk, Change Control, Primavera P6/MS Projects etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Programme / PMO and how they integrate within the overall project delivery
  • Strong leadership skills within a project controls team environment
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Solid narrative skills to support with bid writing
  • Experience in infrastructure sectors such as, civil engineering, construction, aviation, rail, and utilities.
  • Ideally you will hold a degree qualification in engineering, or a construction related subject or similar.

This role will be London based hybrid working position with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.

Salary dependant on experience £80K-£90K plus bonus and generous benefits package.
