Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Construction

We need an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for our client, a major independent construction consultancy. You’ll be joining an incredible power project based in the capital.

You will be working in a client focused environment; therefore, it is imperative that you are able to communicate and present strongly. This role involves both pre and post contract Quantity Surveying support. You’ll need to demonstrate a basic understanding of the NEC3 forms of contract and have a degree within a construction/ commercial related discipline.

Prerequisites:

  • Have good interpersonal skills, be able to work as part of a wider team and engage with the client’s supply chain.
  • Ideally have main or sub-contractor experience.
  • Ability to review, manipulate and summarise data.
  • Expertise in monitoring expenditure against purchase orders, requesting uplifts where required.
