One of the world’s leading construction consultancies is seeking a talented Commercial Manager to work on infrastructure commissions.

Your role will involve delivering major infrastructure projects. Ideally the successful candidate will have a background in highways, rail, utilities, or other civil engineering delivery. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to support your project leaders in maintaining high standards of service delivery in fast-moving environment, while achieving successful outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Leading or supporting the successful delivery of projects.
• Negotiating and corresponding with clients.
• Liaising with other Managers to ensure efficient financial control.
• Undertaking service delivery with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
• Providing commercial and cost management advice and reporting to clients.
• Providing commercial management support to the broader project team.
• Developing strong collaborative relationships with client and clients’ supply chain staff that will support the achievement of project goals.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

• Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute.
• Qualified or working towards qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant sectors.
• Technical delivery experience gained within civil engineering projects.
• Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills.
• Degree or apprenticeship in a related discipline.
• Knowledge and experience of NEC4.
• Professional institution membership (CICES, RICS, ICE, etc).
• A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
