On behalf of a prestigious client, we are looking to recruit a Programme Manager to work on an exciting water project in the Bristol Area, with some flexibility on travel to the South West, Wales and London. Our clients are also open to people based in Exeter as they have another office in that area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Program Delivery within the infrastructure sector (preferably the water sector) and will be comfortable in a client facing environment engage with stakeholders at all levels to deliver innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and shape programmes of technology-enabled change to deliver the greatest return on the investment for our clients
• Define, manage and deliver a coherent set of business outcomes to realise this return at a programme level, including whole programme responsibility for business change
• Shape capital water projects and ensure delivery of project outcomes
• Identify and manage dependencies within the programme and across the portfolio
• Ultimate accountability for the successful delivery of projects within the programme and realisation of the business outcomes
• Management of project teams and suppliers to ensure the best possible outcome for our Water clients

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven abilities and expertise in working in project controls environments and/ or PMO environments
• Sector expertise will include working for large complex businesses in infrastructure, defence and/ or oil and gas sectors
• You will have demonstrable expertise in senior stakeholder management and leadership
• Proven background in leading large teams successfully through a change process with a particular focus on having the teams see the bigger picture
