Project Controls Manager – Infrastructure

Salary £80,000 – £90,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package

Our client, a forward thinking and highly regarded consultancy, require a Project Controls Manager at an Associate Director level to work on a multibillion programme of work. Supporting the end client, you will be pivotal in supporting across the project controls team and being the liaison with stakeholders in scheduling, cost engineering, risk and change management. You will report to an overall director who will oversees the programme.

The key focus of the role will be to support the controls function with governance and assurance activities, PMO deliverables, reporting & presentations, action management and the month end integrity checks and assurance of the supplier’s programme performance.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable project controls and PMO expertise from construction and/ or infrastructure type projects. Stakeholder management is critical, so excellent all round communication skills are a must.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on an exciting programme with complex challenges and longevity, the role is based in London with hybrid working.

Candidate requirements:

  • Demonstrable project controls engineering expertise.
  • Proven scheduling knowledge using Primavera P6.
  • Experience in cost engineering with tools such as SAP, Prism, EcoSys.
  • Ability to produce reporting and dashboard processes.
  • Expertise in change management and project risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Sector expertise to include, major construction, civil engineering or major engineering programmes of work including multi layered controls requirements.
