Our client, a leading construction consultancy specialising in Planning and Project Controls, is in the process of expanding its established Project Controls team and is seeking an experienced individual for the role of Associate Director.

In this position, the Associate Director will play a pivotal role in advancing critical project work within a multi-billion-pound energy programme. The responsibilities encompass a range of activities, including cost-related tasks, Project Management initiatives, and the standard Project Control functions expected at this level. The role involves overseeing a team Project Control professionals so experience in leadership is a must.

Experience required:

  • Expertise in Planning & Project Controls Toolsets: Demonstrable proficiency in utilising planning and project controls tools, including strong knowledge in cost management, Primavera P6, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk assessment, gained through extensive experience on major projects.
  • Programme/ PMO Knowledge: A thorough understanding of Program Management Office (PMO) processes and their integration within overall project delivery.
  • Industry Sector Expertise: Knowledge and experience in the UK-based industry sectors, particularly within Infrastructure / energy sector
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary teams effectively this position will lead a team of up to 15 professionals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder management and engagement.
