Our client is in need of a talented PMO based project planner! This role is for an amazing opportunity to work on a £4bn programme of new infrastructure work, you will be an essential part of their team and you’ll be assisting the Project Controls Manager in ensuring that all the plans are developed/ tracked, and reported on which will produce positive project outcomes.

About you: 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of planning softwares, ideally P6, or MSP. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have the relevant planning and controls work experience and have working infrastructure or construction-based expertise. A key part of your role is to liaise with stakeholders, this will entail you to have strong communication skills. 

Key responsibilities: 

While you’re working with the project and programme managers, you’ll be expected to gather scheduling data across the portfolio, integrate contractor schedules into the PMO master plan and ensure adequate risk provision is built into the plans. Furthermore, you will need to ensure that the plans have the correct integrity and quality. A key responsibility will be to produce the forecast for the related milestones and periodic reports.
