£45,000 – £55,000 per annum, plus car allowance

A brilliant opportunity has come forth for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned international construction consultancy. You’ll be making significant impacts on this rail project – in return it’ll elevate your career within the infrastructure sector.

The successful candidate must have a great understanding of NEC3 contracts and ideally a degree in a construction-related field. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key part in supporting the contract lifecycle. You will be needing excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Analysing, manipulate, and summarise data.
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of construction, including the impact of program lengths on preliminaries, among other aspects.
• Monitoring expenses related to Purchase Orders and request adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborating with the team and engaging with clients
• Utilising strong Excel skills

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within larger teams and engagement with clients’ supply chain.
• Proficiency in working with NEC contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction-related discipline, or substantial prior experience in a similar role.
