Project Controls Engineer – Infrastructure Construction

Salary £40,000 – £65,000

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our clients team working on exciting multi-million-pound projects. As a Project Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects by providing comprehensive project controls support. You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to establish and maintain project baselines, monitor project performance and identify risks.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement project controls systems and procedures to monitor project performance including cost, schedule and change.

·         Collaborate with project teams to establish project baselines, budgets and schedules.

·         Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery timelines and budgets.

·         Prepare and present project status reports and forecasts to various stakeholders.

·         Support change management processes by assessing the impact of scope changes.

·         Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with project controls processes and procedures.

About you:

·         Working experience with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project or similar.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.

·         Experience working across one or more of the following sectors: aviation, rail, defence, nuclear, power generation, utilities, construction, civil engineering.
