We are currently seeking professionals for positions in cost management, project management, and project controls in the Portsmouth area. The roles are part of a strategic infrastructure programme, involving the delivery of construction projects across a diverse range of integrated assets.

Applicants should have or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance due to the nature of the project. The position requires on-site presence in Portsmouth for 3-4 days per week.

Required Skills

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Possess at least 5+ years of experience in the construction delivery sector, with a preference for operational environments.
  • Proficient in managing multiple and varied projects throughout the full RIBA lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and support various stakeholders.
  • Strong pre-contract knowledge.
  • Familiarity with process and procedure development.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles.
  • Extensive experience in commercial/budget management and the ability to provide guidance and education.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including data manipulation and concise communication of conclusions.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge, including materials, plant, and labour costs associated with project delivery.
  • Ability to assess risk levels.
  • Proven ability to establish collaborative relationships.
  • Sound understanding of budget baseline creation and management, including budget changes, expenditure, estimation, work breakdown structure, and cost breakdown structure.
  • Capability in business case development, including financial experience.
