Senior Quantity Surveyor – Renewable energy
Hybrid / London
Salary Range: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum + a bonus of up to 30%, a company share scheme, and core benefits.
We are thrilled to offer an exceptional career opportunity with a progressive organisation in the renewable energy sector, poised for substantial planned growth. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor for an exciting Battery Storage Project. This ambitious project based in Essex has substantial capital investment and is set for completion by the end of 2025. This position involves hybrid working from home and the London office.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be looking to maximise gross margin through the placement and control of contracts/subcontracts and the management of the contracting supply chain. Furthermore, you will be assessing and reviewing commercial and contractual risks, authorising, and submitting project variations, issuing certification, applications for payment, and managing change under the NEC4 contract.
Role Requirements:
- Degree level qualification, ideally within a construction-related discipline.
- Experience in design and delivery phases on major UK projects.
- Demonstrable NEC3/4 knowledge.
- Proven quantity surveying expertise covering change, variations, applications for payment, certifications, reconciliation, and re-baselining.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Sector expertise from oil & gas, renewable energy, heavy engineering, electrical mechanical or infrastructure required
